Gatwick airport is located around 30 miles south of London. In your Avis hire car it’ll take you just over an hour to get into the capital dependent on traffic, add another 30 minutes if you’re aiming for central London.London has an incredible history stretching back over 2000 years. Return your car when it suits you
You can return your hire car out of hours, because we understand flights run through the night. Simply leave your keys in the drop box, located at our counter inside the terminal.

Gatwick Airport is clearly signposted from all major motorways. Simply exit the M23 at Junction 9, follow the signs to Gatwick and head to the South Terminal.
On arrival, follow the signs to the main car rental car park. We’ll be waiting for you on the left.

This hire station is not in the London Congestion Charge zone but drivers travelling into central London between 7am and 6pm on Monday to Friday will have to pay the charge on a daily basis.
