Topping the list of attractions is Alhambra; part palace and part fort it’s a stunning building which has UNESCO World Heritage Site status. Inside there are numerous treasures to marvel at including fountained courtyards, mosaic lined chambers and atmospheric arched walkways.
Granada Cathedral is another big draw; the brainchild of 17th-century artist and architect Alonso Cano, it has an impressive baroque exterior and cavernous Renaissance style interior.
